Paolo is currently President of Netplan Management Consulting.
Since 2001, Paolo has been a director of Ryanair (Europe’s most profitable airline – NASDAQ RYAAY) and since 2009 a director of Camco International (LSE:CAO).
Paolo's past positions include CEO of 9REN (previously Gamesa Solar), Chairman of Atmos Holding SpA, an Italian cleantech VC firm, CEO of Enel Green Power (power generation in Italy, North and Latin America), CEO of Nuovi Cantieri Apuania (shipbuilding), Business Development Director for Europe and Middle East at General Electric Power Systems, Senior Manager at Bain and Company (management consulting) and Vice President Marketing Eastern Division at Kinetics Technology International B.V. (petrochemical engineering), where he spent his first 9 years of career as a chemical engineer designing and building refineries and petrochemical plants from its centers in Pasadena (California), Zoetemeer (Holland) and later Rome (Italy). Paolo has been Board member of Trinergy (privately held renewable energy company), Ducati and several companies of Enel, Eni and Atmos Holdings.
As a member of the board of directors at Ducati Motor Holding (sport motorcycles), then a TPG company, Paolo participated to the IPO and led an internally run turnaround in 2003. As a senior executive of Enel Group, Paolo actively participated to the IPO in 1999. Both companies have been listed in Milan Bourse and NYSE. |
